đ The 2026 WNBA Draft airs Monday, April 13 on ESPN, and it holds more drama than the Real Housewives of Toledo. Dallas has the first pick and itâs a real will-they-wonât-they situation. Do the Wings select sharp-shooter Azzi Fudd and reunite the off-court couple (she dates Paige Bueckers in case youâre new to Earth) or do they swing for the ceiling and grab 19-year-old Spanish phenom Awa Fam, a high-risk, high-reward gamble. Plus, two brand new expansion teams, Toronto and Portland, are making their draft debuts. The stakes couldnât be higher. Take that Toledo!
đ Good news: League One Volleyball's semifinals are set to take place in Louisville this weekend. No. 1 Houston faces No. 4 Salt Lake, while No. 2 Atlanta takes on No. 3 Austin. You can catch it on Victory+ and ESPN2 Friday through Sunday, April 10â12. Bad news: Nebraska just missed the playoffs, which means we have to say goodbye to Jordan Larson. Sheâs a four-time Olympian, FIVB world champion, and arguably the greatest American volleyball player ever. I saw her play in Austin last spring, and I'm so glad I did.
â˝ď¸ If I can't have a triple espresso, then make it a double. The USWNT welcomes back Sophia Wilson (super mom) for their upcoming friendlies against Japan, with the first match this Saturday, April 11 in San Jose. And she's not coming alone. Defender Tierna Davidson is finally back after 13 months away following an ACL tear. The MASH unit is almost empty. Hooray!
