Few know basketball like hoops Hall-of-Famer and broadcaster Cheryl Miller, and she is THE person we wanted to consult on the eve of the NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament. Oh and p.s., Miller is a part of our incredible lineup here at Storied Sports.
Finally this week, we can all enjoy March Madness a little more knowing the seniors can advance to the WNBA without a labor stoppage. This league is a rapidly growing business, and its players are some of the most recognizable athletes in American sport
Importantly, the season is intact. If the league and union hadn’t come to a deal they’d have been wasting the lead they’ve spent years building. The WNBA is a growing league.
You invest in growth. As salaries move from fixed items on the budget line to a subset of revenue, the WNBA moves into the big leagues. Now, it’s time to get to work and get these players paid.
